1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Theyre all over here. I saw alot of them in the 12k range, and i missed one for 6k last year. The buy here pay here lot wants like 16k, but the rest seem to be coming down.

This one is on generally good shape otherwise, nice seats, good paint etc so a few mechanical things don't worry me much. Biggest is probably the timing belt and rear main leak that i forgot to mention. If they go like 6k, then maybe.

 

I replaced the timing belt first on mine. Was the only thing in 4 years of daily driving.

Three games that aren't out yet, but I finished God Of War last night so I need something new to play...

 

Red Dead Redemption remastered for PC end of October, also Silent Hill 2 remaster is out.

 

So, confession

I bought, played through, and thoroughly enjoyed RDR when it first came out

I've owned RDR2 since it came out, and I still haven't played through it

It starts really slow so it's hard to get into

 

I still believe it is one of the greatest games ever. Muscle through the beginning and it gets better.

 

I'll start a new game up tonight, I don't remember anything from 10 months ago.

It was just painfully slow.

 

The prologue is slow but everything is a build up

 

It was exactly that. It had AZ plates so that means vacation and not paying attention to anything else. They were doing 25 in a 45 with camera phones hanging out the window before the line started.

 

My god that was amazing

 

i wanted to like those games but i could never get into it for whatever reason, even though the environment was cool

 

I recommend part 1; either it wasn't slow enough at the start to bore me or my ADD wasn't as bad

I try not to watch any videos for part 2, but tons show up talking about the immense detail that went into that game (with shit occurring in the background even that you can follow up on).
