Want to order some custom hub centric rings. Can’t find my size. I need 106.25mm to 95.2mm. But the company that makes the custom rings says “Accuracy is ± 0.1 mm.” Should I go down 0.1mm to be safe? They’re made of high grade plastic if that helps. New to the truck scene, so forgive me if I sound dumb.

Sell the wheels. Buy wheels fitted for 106. I never liked the idea of adapters on a critical part, but that's just me.

There's no shortage of cool wheels.

I really want the new method 708 bead grip wheels. Not many offsets for it yet. Going with the 707 because they offer +25 offset. Like the look of 295’s with a +25. Like I said newbie here. Bead grips seem like a good choice for me for now. But they all are for 106.25mm hubs.

I wouldn't consider the rings critical. Critical is stud center and lugnut shape. The center rings are for convenience.

I thought hub centric wheels carry the bulk of the load through the hubs, not the lugs. In my mind, if a spacer isn't perfect to a tenth or even a hundredth of a mil, the wheel it's attached to will never be perfectly centered. In my lazy Saturday of contemplating things... I just saw it as a place to introduce a new source of vibration. And in a truck that loves to have sources of vibes, why add another?

I ran wheels with larger holes than the hub for years. Including soloII and HPDE days. Changed tires from street to race at least monthly

If you have the correct lug nuts and know how to properly mount a wheel they will actually 'self center'.

BTW, the plastic rings that were provided with my wheels deformed after a a few off and on instances in competition. If youre going to use rings at least get aluminum

Caveat. My situation had cone lugs. Flat bottomed lugs might not work as well.

I'm running 1" spacers with my stock wheels. The first set I bought weren't hub centric. They worked just fine...except that tire rotations were more difficult than they needed to be. Without the hub centric rings, it was harder to get the lugnuts centered properly in their bores. Once the lugnuts were properly mating their bores, everything tightened up well with no vibrations or loosening of the lugnuts.

With the hub centric spacers, I can just pop the wheels onto the ring and hold in place with my toe while I get the lugnuts started.

The clean mating of the wheel to the hub and the lugnuts into their bores is the strength of the wheel mount.

Hubcentric "adapters" are absolutely not critical. You can run without them. All the strength is in the lugnuts.

I’ve purchased some aftermarket wheels with
Center bore: 106.1 mm I guess meant for the 3rd gen and my understanding is the 4th gen is 95.2 mm. I’m concerned that these wheels wouldn’t fit properly.
