    I drive a Miata.
    To be sure, weights are very important for staying legal during transport.

    In my weird imagination, I saw them as assigned inventory numbers for tracking purposes, kind of like batch numbers, where a nerd could make a spreadsheet full of stats like weight, harvest date, yield, and destination.

    But really, Im Sargent Shultz. I know nothing. Just speculatin. Because I'm watching fight club and doin laundry and feel like making shit up.
