That’s a fair question, as I had it in my glove box. I installed a trailer brake but it never dawned on me that this is what it was for, now I know…trailer brake has been installed for years and this is still sitting in my glove box.

 

The white and gray plug is used to cap the tailgate wire when it's disconnected to remove the tailgate (and camera).

 

I kinda need the white/gray plug

 

Maybe i have my own. I haven't dug through my glovebox in forever

Deadlock or Beadlock?

 

Got the truck back yesterday evening after getting the CV Axels and steering rack replaced.

Cerakote headlight restoration in progress. Guess there's no going back now.

 

Be sure to throw on some ceramic coat or clear bra or it will come right back in a year or two.

 

The kit comes with a ceramic coat.

Think you just motivated me to pull the kit I have out of the basement and do mine tomorrow morning.

 

I used Cerakote’s kit on my sister car. 3yrs later the and they still look great.

 

I just did mine 3 weeks ago and wasn’t impressed with the outcome. It left some horizontal streaks on my headlights (after the ceramic coat) that you can kinda see in your pic. Maybe I didn’t follow the directions to the T, idk
