Maybe someone makes a slide/barrel and mag kit, like they do for Glocks…. My 9mm can run .22 for ammo cost reduction with a slide/mag change.

White Sands National Park is constantly moving around and uncovering new secrets. Like covered wagons from the 1800’s and the oldest footprints ever found in North America. I hate to think what might turn up in my yard.

    I drive a Miata.

My cheap plinker is even more shameful. It's a hi point carbine with a custom bullpup stock. Every time I took it to the range, this exact exchange followed "cool gun, what is it?" "Hi Point." And that's where the conversation mysteriously ended.

    :anonymous:

Still more fun than a Taurus pistol though. :crapstorm:

    I love white sands.

My first time there was in college as a young geology student, this was week one of a six week field trip. A classmate dared me to dive off a dune Scrooge McDuck style, and I wasn't about to chicken out of a dare.

I was picking gypsum sand out of my ears for the entire rest of that summer.

Dang Evee was a pup last time I've been.
