I need to change my name

Picked up my 2024 trd off road manual transmission yesterday. Loved it during the 2.5 hour drive home.

Even without the power seats and rear sliding window, I gained:
1. Rear disc brakes
2. Coil springs rear
3. Rear cross traffic alert
4. Steering assist
5. More power, let's hope the turbo4 lasts.
6. Wireless carplay w/14 inch screen
7. Heated seats

Overall I'm very happy and this thing looks great in underground.

 

Sounds like we have the same exact truck except mine's in blue crush metallic. I have 1800 miles and no problems so far. Don't miss the upgrade packages (especially given how much they cost) but like the heated seats and 14" screen. Love the manual transmission! I haven't done much highway driving but have been impressed by about 19.5 mpg in my local area, which includes a 1,300 foot "mountain" between me and work

 

I got 20.5 mpg on my 116 mile trip home. About 75 miles highway, 40 back roads. I also was not driving for mpg, keeping in gears I usually would not to vary the rpms. I assume ill get better when I drive it a bit more normal if that makes sense.

I like the blue depending on the light. Most important it has the 6 speed. Enjoy it.

 

I also have an offroad manual just hit 13k km today.

 

The 2022 OR i bought brand new is a little over 15k miles atm lol. Maybe debating trading in for 2014 corvette ever since my buddy took me out in his 600 hp amg final edition. Offroading vs speed is making me think lol

 

You need both IMO.

In Canada, mine came with power sliding rear window, but 8" screen.

 

Thanks. I'm surprised how much it appears as almost a black from a distance. 550 miles in so far, love it. I haven't driven it a lot, took it out today and was like I'm so glad I got this truck. A big upgrade from 2023.
