Did you pick up some tyres for the camper while you were there?

Was going to ask if this was in the U.P. but you settled that riddle.

sounds like you need to get yourself a foodbox. I travel with an assortment of freeze dried meals and oatmeal for when things go off the rails.

I'd much rather camp at 34 than 84. Trying to sleep when it's much above 70 doesn't work for me.

I think my dad still has nightmares from driving trail ridge road in Colorado. I've probably driven it 10 times now and it doesn't bother me.

    leaving it off or running?

if its off, I'd make sure to pull the drain plug / crack the top so it doesn't get funky inside.

if you aren't actively using it, I'd keep it off.

Hey thanks glad I can share some entertainment! Glad y’all got Woolwaxed up. I’ll probably procrastinate that and do it on that one unseasonably warm week of like Xmas/New Years. Keep seeing tons of the powder blue 3G Tacos down here and I don’t like them, your Voodoo color is bold and usually I don’t care for it on my own vehicles but damn if she ain’t a looker. But that other blue is ugly and I’m glad you don’t have it LOL.

I have a 65L dual zone fridge and enough food to survive a while. I’m just lazy and wanted warm coffee/breakfast while on the run so I could put on more highway miles. Let’s put it this way: I have friggin popsicles in the freezer right now, I’m just lazy.

And agreed I’d rather sleep cold than hot. Please nobody mistake my intent in the first post if it came across that way. Words are hard, doing this all from my phone/iPad. Cold > Hot. Maybe not “TW Ice Road Truckers” camping cold…ehh I dunno it’s close.

Very good points that hadn’t crossed my mind. Do what the penguin avatar man says. Even if you pull the drain plug it doesn’t hurt to get a couple of those desiccant packets to throw in there too. Anything to prevent mold/funk is well worth it.

No. I looked at some online, but haven't bought yet. I'm going to do all 3 right away. I don't really need to move it until next April so I'm not in any rush.

Thanks, yeah I was planning on leaving it off, unless somebody knew of a technical reason to leave it running when it’s really cold outside.

I totally forgot about the drain plug, good point!

This used transfer case switches between 2WD-4HI-4LO, quick.

I was telling @Camerasandcoffee about how the other one was usually delayed and took a bit to engage. To the point of me fiddle fluckin' around, questioning whether I did it right.
I just wrote it off as normal this entire time. (my 1st electronic 4WD)

Now I'm thinking the old transfer case was defective and something was bound to fail.

Anyways. Glad that one's behind me.
That was my hidden front hitch money.:D

I would probably use my pressure washer more if it was easier to move around and store, like that.

Was thinking the same, for $83 at Menards it might be worth not having to haul the big unit out every time.

The big unit usually ends up buried in the shed. I got it primarily for the house so there's like 2 or 300ft of hose attached. That way I can park it in one spot and still reach all around the house and roof without moving it.

Edit: After the unit is unburied from the shed is when one realizes they now need to go get gas for it because the 4 cans in the shed are empty. lol

Speaking of pressure washing. I kept the skids off and I'm thinking of giving them a quick rinse to then do some touch ups. Seeing some steel cancer starting to form on the scratches already o_O

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
