Thats dumb. I can see that causing rust issues in 10 years. Especially in New England / salt belt..

Yeah but I could actually afford the GeForce 2 so it was a big deal to me.

The holes are punched. Then the part is primed and painted. How dumb is it?

Apple should have trademarked the name. iFORCE Max could be the description of shoving your charging cable too hard into your iPhone.

Paint doesn't like sharp edges. And based on the pics of the Tundra, that badge will absolutely hold moisture (and salt) under it.

Probably just the pessimist in me.. I guess more to the point, why bother making such a big gaudy badge that it needs to be clipped in?

I'd get a custom badge in the same font.

That's a decision started in 2016 with the massive TRD Pro door badge...

This is a classic thread here. A guy wants some help, and it degenerates into a bunch of Negative Nancys.

The large door badge hasn't caused any corrosion issues.

3rd gen has better frame corrosion protection. Best gen or not, there will be more 3rd gens left standing as 2nd gens wither away and return to the earth. :D

Hey all, I got my TRD sport 2 weeks ago. Just wanted to say that I can confirm that the i-FORCE MAX badges on the hood do NOT have pins. Just the regular adhesive.

I removed all my badging except the small i-FORCE MAX badge on the back. It's small enough and kinda quirky.

Happy with the new clean look sticker/badge free. Still debating the chin spoiler.

    Good to know, looks clean.
However, when you go to appraise the truck for sale, make sure they put in the correct trim because when I removed my TRD OFF ROAD decal, they appraised my truck as SR5

Good note Malatx, I will remember that. Hoping it is a LONG time before I try and sell this truck though. I’m happy with it, and trying to sell my RAM to get into this truck was a frustrating process.
