I’m sorry about that. I know it really sucks and hurts. Missing out on family events is one thing, but taking yours and your daughter’s time up is not cool. It would be ok if you were asked if you could trade weekends of a special trip. But, to just do it and wait until the last second, sucks. I f you had done that to your ex, she would have a warrant out for you, and back in front of the judge.
I would call my attorney and have him note it and file an order violation with the judge. Just to cause her headaches.

Sorry for my rant. It just makes me mad that Dad’s get the short hand in a divorce.

 

Woke up. Beat the old lady. Went out. Tried to find a job. Couldn’t. Went home, beat the the old lady and the dog, this time. Jk. Jk.

 

Not yet, getting a little closer. Since we bought the house, work has picked up. So progress on the house is slow. Here are the finished showers and counters. I just need to install the fixtures, and paint.

 

No court. Missouri is notoriously unfair to fathers, and her stepfather is of a demographic that courts/police here are notoriously heavy handed against.

So we decided to keep the courts out of it as long as we can stay civil. Normally. He is very good about this thing which makes me wonder if he's either not on the trip or if she told that she had told me and she just didn't.

Either way, that's not going to be a fun conversation for them on Monday evening when I pick her up.

Okay. Been busy. Got a call with corporate tomorrow to discuss a little incident last week where I dropped a scissor lift off my forks

 

I wonder if it's best not to have that convo, at least not yet. Perhaps look into what your options are if this is going to be a constant thing.

I'm not a parent so I probably should shut up, but this sucks especially as you said when the dad gets the short stick

I couldn't get all the way under it and it was unstable when I went to unload the guy. There was no visible damage to the lift and only scuffs on his trailer.
