Has anyone been using Milwaukee packouts in their campers? Say a slim organizer on the molle panel right behind the cab? It does require a specific mounting plates, wondering if there are any companies make a mounting plate that can bolt onto the existing inserts in the camper?

Does anyone know how much room there is between the top of a gen 4 Tacoma and the bottom of the Super Pacific?

Ah yes fitting in the garage is nice! I made them out of an aluminum flat bar.

    DIY SIDE SCREENS

Bought some patio screens on line, dual split, 64×80. Wrapped the Velcro around window frame and attached the screen. Screwed on a steel shelving piece horizontally using the existing riv nuts. Trimmed to length. Cut the sewn in magnet strip off of the leftover screen and stapled it to the bottom. Now it hangs and magnetically attaches when you let close. Doors shut no problem. Some gaps but I’ll spray the screen with permethrin. Any mosquitoes will really have to fight to get in. I could have done a cleaner job but it was 90 degrees all day. Whew.

No issues, plenty of space between the cab and X1.

Yup! The mattress has to have ALL of its air taken out. I love having it all up there ready to go.

Interior update. The diesel heater is mounted in the bed within an extruded aluminum box. I chose to install the heater inside of the bed to keep it clean and allow for easier maintenance. Vents direct air to the top and lower section of the camper. The ducting is hidden within the extruded aluminum box. Two usb fans mounted at the rear window also help circulate air.

Love that heater box - nice touch. I am struggling with how to integrate my ProPex. I might just go for the Truma and put it on the door. Half the accessories for the ProPex are on backorder anyway. Here is my current WIP:

Did you need to trim anything off of the bottom of the screen door?

Thank you! It took me a long time to figure out that box situation and fuel storage with quick disconnects. The trauma mounted on the door is a great use of space but wow that thing is expensive. Nice set up. Very clean!

Hey. When I bought mine, I was about the last one to have them use the really expensive, proto-type clamps (arm hooks under the bed lip).
    upload_2024-10-16_11-54-6.png

I would reach out to SP to see what else is different between your install and a 1st gen. I believe some use a different rear door lip at the tail gate.
