The left panel of my rear glass got taken out from the hurricane. I looked it up, and didn't love my options. Either, I get the full panel from Toyota for almost $700, or the patch piece from Brads Auto Glass, which seems decent, but not great. Or, I do the one piece panel for much less than the 3 piece w/slider.

I know someone has done a power slider, but has anyone tried doing a power up/down like on the 4Runners? It's one feature I've always loved on the 4runners.

FWIW, I have the 3-piece sliding center rear-window: I rarely open it: Leaves and crap get sucked into it underway when it's open. I also have rear door privacy power windows which ventilate just as good. If my cab rear window was broken and a one piece OEM replacement was the least expensive replacement option, that's what I would choose.

Yea, I have the slider now as well. Single piece option. Is definitely the way I'm going. Just curious if anyone has down a up/down slider. Doesn't seem that way though.

Debris only gets sucked in if you don't have a cover on your bed and there's debris in the bed to begin with. I have my rear window down all the time and never have an issue.

OP, I've never seen anyone on here that has done it. Possible that there's not room for the window to go down.

Having torn out the interior several times, it would have to be a full custom job - there is not enough space back there to even make the 4runner actuator/motor/etcetera fit. You're looking at Frankensteining and fabrication, including figuring out the seals/belts and glass.
