    That's all they are. Just make sure the rating is good. And if you can, get the foldable ones. The not collapsible ones are a pain in the ass to store.

    Or you just want a massive set of jack stands, like 10-ton.

    Just depends if you have a lift or not really.

    I use my usual 6ton jack stands under the frame. I have the pipe stands to support whatever else I’m working on.

    currently with my truck chopped in half, I have 2x 6tons under the jd fab pivot kit, 4x 6 tons under the cab. 2 are adjacent to the transmission crossmember, 2 are right before my link pivots. The pipe stands right now are used for the axle and rear corners of the cab because I cut the cut frame off where the cab mounts were.

    I’ve had full extension with wheels turned and shaft not come out. That’s weird.

    So i found a mid height rack and a RTT for a great deal but the rack uses the slot rails and a small pad on top of the bedside. Obviously with the fiberglass I have 0 strength on top but I'm wondering if most of the load is dispersed in the slot rail and not the top of the bedside. I'm worried about even mounting it an driving the 6 hours home. Once I get home I can modify it to go to the floor instead.

    I offroaded with my RTT just like that on fiberglass bedsides. No issues.

    Yeah weird to me too.
    That's what I was thinking, but I'm strapped up before bind and we just had a very short drive up a hill, small breakover, then were on a flat road for about 100' before a small turn and it popped.

    I guess I can shorten the limit straps?

    If the fiberglass bedsides fit like OEM steel bedsides, they should transfer any weight to the top of the composite bed I believe.

    I mean I guess the pressure point is at the 90° edge and not out in the middle where there is a void

    Something to think about is the fiberglass bedside probably sit a little lower than the tops of the OEM rails…. So there will probably be a 1/2” gap or so in between the fiberglass top and the horizontal part on the rack.
    At least that’s how my soft cover fit, I had to grind down the brackets that slotted into my bed rails

    I got some 12 ton harbor freight ones. They’re solid and tall, but suck to store.
    6 tons for axles or my 4Runner.
    Mostly the height is what I need

    Great point @Sterling_vH111 the factory bed sides sit on the composite bed, and then there are plastic caps that go on top of those that are probably 3/8" thick. So while the factory bedside will carry some load, you'll likely not touch, or just barely, the fiberglass, assuming you fit them snug to the bed.

    I did leave a slightest of gap between the top of the glass and the bed bar when I tightened it to the bed rails. You may be able to see it in the pic here. There is a 1/4 plastic piece attached to the the bed bar to keep the metal bar from touching the glass.
