The funny/slightly disturbing thing too is, I had zoomed in 2 or 3x to get that shot on my iPhone...I was pretty far away in my truck. He's looking me dead in the eyes

I know :( The one thing that brings me some peace is that they finally switched to the universal usb-c charging plug for the iPhone 15, so at least I got to keep using my old charger. It's like a constant reminder of who I was

Between Android and iPhone? That would be nice. I wonder how much money Apple is losing on not having exclusive chargers anymore. Was kind of funny because Rebecca thought we were finally going to have the same phone charger...nope lol.

That came in the iOS 18 update, through RCS capability for iPhones, so android messages don't look quite as horrible anymore.
Still green text bubbles though :puke:

I dropped one of these from the top of the roof of a Chuck E Cheese building that my friends and I use to get drunk on when we were 19, hit the pavement and still worked

But did the city fine you for damaging the pavement?

No but it registered as a 4.7 on the Richter scale and I had to lay low for a bit

Androids before that 6 were pretty bad

Still though, I bet you take the day off of work for whenever a new iphone drops and you're there at the ribbon cutting ceremony :luvya:

My latest laptop is tech wise excellent, pretty decent styling wise, and has a great display... But it has a weird thing that I'm struggling to understand. A massive touchpad, like seriously huge, like always in the way big. Why does it need to be so large?

Look at how much real estate this thing takes up on a 15in laptop... this is a Dell Precision, a full workstation laptop... who needs this almost drawing pad sized touchpad?

At least it only cost you $5 to replace the cover at any mall kiosk. I went with cement grey.

The verdict is I rotated my tires and one of the rear I put on the front requires 14oz to balance. They told me to keep that one in the rear but I don’t like not rotating my tires.

They claimed it’s a 50/50 if I order a new tire that it will solve my issue. I replaced a brand new one when I got the set that required over a pound to balance out. They recommended I switch to one of the new cooper AT tires that just came out of vibrations bother me. It doesn’t come in 265/75R16 though.

I didn’t fully appreciate the multiple times the techs called my truck a “little truck” and kept saying “why do you have an oilfield tire if you like a good ride”. But the manager I dealt with earlier on the phone was at least respectful. Shoot maybe I’ll get some 17” wheels to have more tire options.

That tire is built like shit if it required 14oz, that's huge. Sucks though, not much you can do about a tire with a crappy casing
