What is the fix? Total transmission replacement or R&R effected parts or software update?

I’m positive they do read these forums. It’s how they gather information to a degree , but everyone has their own opinion

My salesman reads them all the time and does talk with the service dept about certain issues. Don’t know how far it goes beyond that

Not sure why that would matter much, inregards to you doing something toyota doesnt agree with...
Driving the hell out of it, as long as it fails within the warranty period, it is what it is...

Not quite true. Short story, kid bought a new car with extended warranty, engine blew at 45,000km. Dealership plugged into the car and read the ECM? turns out it was over revved multiple times kid. He took it to the track because it was track rated lol, warranty denied. If Toyota can prove you abused your truck your warranty could be denied.

That's the best warranty claim denial by Toyota in 2024. I vaguely recall reading something in that story that Toyota could deny warranty claims if the vehicles has been driven over 85 mph.

Been a ford engine tech for 30+ years...
Been there, done that, been involved in a dozen or so court cases where ford denied warranty coverage....
    I agree with you there!!!
Its case by case, but when he said im going to drive the hell out of my toyota to get a trans...
Dont think he meant to the point where he going to do intentional harm, also compromise an engine,
I interpreted it as lots of miles, before warranty is up so he get a trans...

My other point, toyota isnt going to deny your warranty cuz you stated that on the internet & they saw it.....

Over 85 MPH? Well should should count out nearly every vehicle produced. I hope that is not true.
