It's a bat pupster, I like it.

Speaking of doggos, the prison has a dog program and right now they have some super smart breeds, looks like they're getting into the more advanced training stuff now. Two border collies makes for some intense playtime in the courtyard though.

Border collies are crazy smart. shortly after my cousin had their firsts kid we were sitting around a camp site and the baby started to cry, without any prompt or training their dog went into the diaper bag and brought them a bottle.

Then there's out currently lab border collie mix that doesn't really do a damn thing haha

 

When I got my 09 and took it in for a balance just one tire took a lb of sticky weights and the rest were almost just as bad

Speaking of doggos, I had River in the living room with his music toys this morning while I was getting Sofia ready for school...I hear him giggling like crazy and look over to see him with one of his drum sticks just whacking Dex in the forehead with it repeatedly and Dex just lying there taking it like it was a normal thing lol.

of course I wanted to get this on video but I figured it more prudent to make him stop before Dex maybe lost his cool. Definitely learning the differences in little boys vs little girls behavior as this kid gets older.

If there was a patience award for dogs Dex would be in the forefront for it by a wide margin

Oh I can imagine. Poor Harley too, there is no safe place for him anymore. Luckily Mai Thai mostly chills behind the recliner where River can't get to him or we might have a real problem, that cat will go for the kill when he's pissed

 

Dogs are awesome really

Never had a cat so can't say, but dogs put up with some much shit from kids being rough

Just saw the video lol. Yeah that looks familiar. The only time I get a little concerned is when River goes up to him while he's eating or chewing on one of his toys, Dex wouldn't try to hurt him but he's like a flailing/bucking horse when he gets amped up

With eating we usually move Dex's food outside or put the baby rail up to section him off

 

I got slapped by the family cats plenty as a kid, it'll happen, and it'll happen again... and likely more after that. Way she goes

 

Yeah that's how Harley is but Mai Thai is old and senile and a feral rescue, so when he gets pissed it's a whole other level of attack. Last time he bit me it bled profusely and I got an infection that made my hand swell up for a few days, almost went to the ER for it. Dude is an asshole lol. But he keeps to himself mostly

We had a cat like that too, parents rescued the meanest feral female cat. My mom loved it, but she was a hair trigger and pretty much liked nothing but raw meat and sometimes my mom.
