Required: Front and rear lockers, 35" or larger tires

Recommended: Skid plates, winch, 37" tires on longer wheelbase rigs (such as 4 door wrangler or full size trucks)

Arrive at 9:30, meetup location TBD
Rear and front on Tacos is a big ask for the AOAA "advanced" trip. Not that big of a deal on Jeeps.
Chances are they're looking at some black trails for that one. Going to be some tight turns in a longer wheelbase. You're looking way beyond "mostly modified" trucks if you want to tag along for that trip in a Tacoma :p

Raush looks fun though. I've never been to Raush or Famous Reading.

Depends where, I saw someone went snow wheeling in VT when I was looking for the NMW Winter wheeling thread, I think some gates are open for trucks and snowmobiles. But if you go in a truck, and tear up the trails, the snowmobiles will be angry (rightfully so). The gates close for mud season. I don't know about NH. Or VT, to be fair. Maine leaves everything open and has them split year long anyway.

Gates open does not mean open. Most of the class 6's around me have signs that implement a weight limit(something like 1500 lbs) starting sometime in December.

So I guess if it is not posted you may be ok but some towns just have it in their ordinances with no physical signs at the trails (or maybe they are overgrown and hidden.

Gotcha, I hate the cold so I've never looked at the rules and regs behind going out in the snow.
Good to know though I'll look into the before (if) I ever do a winter trip.

Ive looked far to deeply in it and they are weird little things. Thier high range in the tcase is not 1:1 they have a reduction. My plan to really build it would be buy a pre 1986 toyota pickup and a vw tdi. Motor out of the vw and axles, tcase, transmission and power steering box and pump out of the pickup. Toss some UTV tires on it and call it a day

Would be street legal, using the VIN from the VW.

^^^ That one may or may not be, but I have seen this done in a way they can be street legal.

Posted both but I'm debating on going to the Rausch event in 2 weeks

    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/octobe...ad-park-tickets-814515607107?aff=erelpanelorg

    One ticket required per vehicle.

A great way to experience the intermediate trails Rausch Creek Offroad Park has to offer! Join our group as we guide an advanced trail ride on green & blue trails.

Recommended: Skid plates, 35" tires, full size spare

Arrive at 9:30, take care of your membership/pass at the office and we'll hit the trail by 10:00. We'll be off the trail before sunset.

Anybody want a November fab day? I can take of any welding/fabrication needs. Right near concord NH

Only availability I have is 11/16,17,23,24 and I want to make sure it doesn't overlap with any wheeling plans.
