Hi, I hate to start a new thread on the infamous front end click, pop but after spending hours reading other threads and doing multiple repairs, I’ve had no luck finding a solution. Truck is a 2020 TRD Pro with 53k on it. Noise has been progressively getting more consistent for the past 5k miles. Can be heard going 10-20mph, over small, sharper bumps including some speed bumps. Easiest way to recreate on cue is to quickly turn the wheel left and right while moving at about 15mph.

Clicking/pop is coming from passenger front wheel area.
    Attached video for sound!

    What I’ve done:
    - both front body mounts (oem)
    - 4 runner lower shock mount bolts (oem)
    - skid plate spacer washers
    - sway bar end links (oem)

It’s about done my head in, what do I try next!?

Can you test drive with the sway totally disconnected?

Mine did this and it went away after I installed new front struts. I think the spring was catching on something. Maybe try taking them out and inspect for rub marks?

Using OEM radiator support bushings was a mistake (what's that saying about insanity often attributed to Einstein?), but I don't think it's causing your problem now.

Torque the shit out of the LCA and UCA pivot bolts or they'll shift a little when loaded.

Are you able to recreate the sound at a standstill (transmission in park) and just turning the steering wheel back and forth?

I inspected the fox units and didn’t see anything that was rubbing or making contact.

seems like the upper and lower control arms might be the issue. I’ll crank down on them and see if that helps!

    To follow up….

I don’t want to jinx it but for the first time in many months it’s been quiet for multiple drives. I greased the hood stops and I tightened the UCA inner bolts. I wish I had done one at a time so I could report exactly what fixed it but it was one or both of those things.

I’ll come back to this space if it rears its head again. Thank you everyone for the helpful comments!!

So I just chased this same thing. I was convinced it was the bolts on the lower end of my shocks. Changed them for the ones for the T4R. No dice. But, when I shook my truck side-to-side by my the skid plate, I could definitely feel the “click, pop” in the skid plate. No doubt. Like, NO DOUBT! Fuck it…I’ll live with it.

The stock rad bushings are shit but the polys have a history of cracking the support. Change the bushing every 20k sounds like the better option unless there's something else in between

It pains me to revive this thread but back to square one with this noise. Oddly, if the hood is opened and allowed to close hard, the noise goes away for a little and then comes back. I’ve looked multiple times at all hood parts and nothing is seemingly loose or broken. When the noise is there, it is replicable by turning the wheel back and forth while driving at 25mph and causing the the body to roll back and forth.

    Parts changed/adjusted during the hunt:
    - front body mounts (OEM)
    - tie rod end links (OEM)
    - 4 runner shock bolts (OEM)
    - skid plate checked for loose bolts
    - control arms torqued

Any fresh ideas to check are greatly appreciated!

Oh you have Fox coilovers? Those can make noise internally.

Make sure hood hinge bolts are tight.
Make sure the hood latch bolts are tight.
Spray some lithium grease in the hood latch mechanism.
Check the hood underside rib structure for disbonded adhesive.
You've replaced the radiator support bushings? Retighten the bolts.

Went through and tightened all hood related components… click still there. Sounds like a joint that pops inside your body. It’s like a click pop. Losing my mind on this.
