Pioneer AVIC Z130bt help

so the new model from pioneer has all the best features, but soniceelctroniks.com is selling the Z120bt for $200 less, is the new model worth spending the money for? or is there upgrade to make it exactly like the Z130? not sure on what to do

 

What is the price of each? I just bought a z120bt and Pioneer Tech support told me there wasn't hardly any difference in the two except for cosmetics. Pioneer is also offering a $100 rebate on the 120bt but I think it runs out soon. I would also go with a "authorized" seller because Pioneer isnt going to offer any help if you bought it from just any online dealer. Is Sonicelectronics authorized? Check the Pioneer website to find out which online sellers are. I bought mine from AL-ED'S online audio. Google it. They are authorized for anything they sell and will almost match just about anyone elses price. Just call them to negotiate.

 

Its $1099 for the new z130bt and $899 for the z120bt, and they are authorized because they sell warrantys for all of their products, they are a local place by me that you order through them and it gets shipped from pioneer and installed or sold by sonic, they are just the middle man in the sale

 

Okay I checked and they arent authorized by pioneer but they sell warranties and everyone buys from the in so cal, so I guess I'll look at the website you bought yours from

 

My philosphy on buying anything is "buy the best and cry once". I bought the Z120bt and a week later the Z130bt comes out. I'm told by the custom car audio owner that the only BIG difference is the 130 gets traffic and the 120 got msn traffic but msn no longer provides the service. For me, traffic is kind of a biggie but out here in N. California we have the 511 traffic which you dial up with your hands free cell phone and get up to date traffic, other than traffic, the two are both the same and I'd buy the one you can afford cause you can't go wrong with either one of them.

 

I think the 130 also gives you HD, where the 120, HD is a add on.

 

Traffic would definitely help and HD is always nice, I'll just save the extra $200 and get the 130
