I have a badlands winch in the front of my tacoma and the way the bumper is i cannot fit the wireless module into the remote port and I'm forced to use a cored remote. Does anyone know of a relocation plug or extention cord? Any help in this would be greatly appreciated as I have scoured the internet with no success.

Go to a 3rd party wireless remote. 3rd party remotes are easy to DIY install and inexpensive. The one I got was all internal to the control box.

Can you relocate the entire j box to a spot that’ll give access to the plug for the wireless module? This assumes the wireless port is part of the j box and not made into the winch.

I could but it would require some wiring work. I have to remove the bumper to access the winch so a simple extension (if it exists) would be much easier solution.

Understand, in that case there are two members here who make harnesses for seemingly whatever other members need. They may even know (or someone else here probably does) the pin out.
@Puppypunter. The others name is Daveusaa or similar but I can’t seem to find the name in the list that comes up.

    Good luck.

I don't have my own winch working yet, have to extend power, module does not fit.

I don't have that connector pictured either.

I’d probably attempt to contact the manufacturer first.

with that said, I even called warn for mine and they said they have nothing for me.

If you want easy, buying a different winch w relocate option or wireless may make sense. I’m close to that for mine but just no time to even look at it.

if you want cheap, just cut away or make new power cables and DIY a relocate.

Ok I solved this issue by using a warn remote extention. It was the perfect size move the plug where it was at the top of my grill. It's a six pin wire so I have to shove one pin back into the house. Hope this helps anyone else with a simular problem.20241024_170257.jpg 20241024_171024.jpg
