I just got the OTT tune done last week with the medium/spicy map. While I'm happy so far, I have noticed a problem when accelerating off the line. When I floor it, the truck starts accelerating, then a moment later there is a very noticeable hesitation like a hiccup then is fine. I don't noticing unusual any other time and never had problems when it was stock. It was recommended to change the spark plugs (35k on original plugs) which I will do this weekend but is there anything else that could be causing this?

Can’t speak to the problem with the tune, but at 35K, I would happily bet my next paycheck that new spark plugs are not going to do a single thing to help.

Spark plugs won't need to be done until 50-70k. 35k is still well within their operating life.
The stall almost sounds like a gearing issue where the truck is holding RPMS before upshifting. Did you ever notice it before the tune?

Never had a problem before the tune. Minus the infamous gear hunting it would accelerate and shift normally.

Not sure how well this comes through in the video but it’s right at the start of accelerating.

Seems normal to me but I'm only running the OV 2.0 tune. Maybe reach out to your tuner and see what they say.
