Have you always had no inner fender? I want to see how you mounted your intake and fuse box.

People cut their entire front suspension off, weld in the new all pro kit, and realize it sucks. Now they are stuck with a truck they've butchered, a kit that doesn't work, and noway to return to factory.

I was so much more excited about this kit during their "teaser" phase compared to after they "debut"ed it

    This ^.

It’s obvious or should be obvious to everybody in here how many corners were cut in the process of “development” on this kit. If we dare call it development. At the point of an entire redesign, why would you cut simple corners such as double shearing the coilover? Or hey let’s go to a 10” shock so we can dual rate this and make it more friendly in the rocks, going fast AND on the street.

They refuse to answer any form of technical question whatsoever regarding this kit. Aside from boasting 15” of travel and a stronger rack.

Which is all obtainable without doing irreversible modifications to your truck.

I like the idea of the kit, but agree the shock mount is weird... if you're doing all this work, why limit the shocks?

It will sell and it will sell well. The problem is, the smart people are (mostly) on forums. And ask the questions. I started drag racing imports in the mid-late 90's where before forums you had email newsletters. Then came forums, and now forums are basically dead. I can't keep up with all the latest parts sluts on Instagram and Tik Tok, nor do I want to. Problem is, that's where these kits are going to sell. Their targeted group is going to see all cool stuff the kit offers (I like how it's basically a giant bulkhead you weld in) and the 15" of travel, and they will just send it. The few times I've seen them answer the technical questions (someone asked about diff mounts, they said the bulletproof ones are on their way - aka not made yet), they just say that specific part or answer is coming in the future. Still no pricing. I'd like to see this kit surprise us all, but not really sure if that will happen.

Funny you mention the diff mounts. When I whacked my front crossmember out my biggest goal was eliminating the low hanging garbage. And it was actually shockingly easy. Yet not only did they lower the diff, but they also lowered the mounts. Which wasn’t necessary in any way shape or form.

The biggest problem these trucks face is axle plunge. Which could have been corrected via geometry changes.

This has been on my mind since I installed the front long travel last week, but I've been going non stop since, so just getting around to asking. Not once have I seen someone post about this. Do people generally pay a shop to handle the extended axle shaft swaps in the CVs, or does everyone just happen to have a 100 ton press? It took a hair over 50 tons on both axles to pop the stock shafts out of the outer cages. Had to use a buddies century old 120 ton press to accomplish it.

Cut shaft flush with the inner race, remove inner race. Center drill shaft with 1” bit in a lathe and done. Pressing them apart is too big of a risk imo. Not saying you can’t. Just run the risk of damaging the race/cage.

Oh it's done already. You have to cut the shaft to remove the inner race regardless of pressing vs drilling. If you properly support and cushion the race there's really no risk. Just didn't expect to have to use such a massive press. Total chaos says it should take 15-20 tons lol....

Don’t know how it compares to RCVs but those outers took me 2 hours in a vice with a brass drift and a 8lb hammer.

What's wild is that 4 runners, with essentially the same front end just have another c-clip to remove. Never thought about them running different axles before this.

I had the 8 lb sledge in my hand, contemplating my choices after the 20ton press gave up. Very lucky to have a friend with a bigger press.

There are other ways without putting in a press but it’s all special tooling.

What’s insane is I’ve popped shafts out with a single smack with the tube trick. Other times, they can get effed.

I gave the tube trick 3 tries before moving on. Figured if I was going to shatter the race, that was going to be the culprit.
