    You can shove a BIC pen or even some cardboard from a roll of TP to defeat these lock cores.

    Lock cylinder is easy enough to re-key at home....get the cylinder out, stick the key in, and file down the brass tumblers till they're flush...then put it back together.

    Yep. And a tow truck could come along and take it. If it doesn't work for you, then don't buy it. But, I'll be sure to watch out for people carrying a toilet paper role around.
