If you were to put in LED turn signals in your 05-15 tacoma you would find that your turn signals flash very quickly due to the lack of resistance. I wanted a fix for this problem so i found the LED turn signal relay from Diode Dynamics website for $10. LINKHERE:
    https://www.diodedynamics.com/led-f...QRUZ_7mdk85AwGdCdfzEBm34GjxmeU5BoCX_wQAvD_BwE
I found that i couldnt find a video on how to do this and figured there are probably going to be people in the same boat so I made one explaining how i installed this part. Just thought i would share this to the forum for those looking for an answer to their hyperflash with the sweet new LEDs. This video also could be used to replace the OEM flasher unit should you need that as well. VIDEO:

@Notmytaco Thanks for the video..so if I order the dyodedynamics unit, do I just replace the OEM flasher unit which is the tannish colored item that you had circled?

I didn't understand what you were saying about leaving the hanging wire plugged in and why the oem one was off to the side.

@Notmytaco awesome, thanks. what were you saying in the video about leaving the one plug plugged in and why was the stock one over to the side?

There is a large black box which i confused for the flasher relay because it also has to do with the flasher. I added that part of the video so others would know that it is not that black box that needs to be swapped out to work with LEDs. Only the one in the shown location needs to be swapped with the diode dynamics part.

Nice video......I added two resistors (per side), fixed hyper flash, without dismantling the dash board, about 10 minutes per side. Installed these 5 years ago.

So where or how do you get a 2015 Tacoma without DRL's? Every one I've seen was equipped with them and the above option wouldn't work. I used resistors for mine. No problem with this route, just was curious where DRL free Tacoma's were found.

    I’m not sure about 2015s. I’m somewhat new to the Tacoma community. I have a 12 :)

I have done the same thing and found these resistors get very hot. I'm using 50w60-AL, is this too much for my LED DRL/turn signals?

I thought the point of the DD module is it changes the voltage checked and eliminates hackjob resistors

The module did not work for me. I have resistors but have not installed them yet. Don’t really plan to.

When I had my 2014 tC I put one of the CF18 SmartTap modules in - one of my favorite mods I did to that car. Really made it feel newer with the tap-to-signal addition and completely got rid of the hyperflash.

It was pretty awful to change though - up above the steering column. I imagine it's also pretty unfun to change on these, but well worth it.

Im in the process of upgrading daytime driving lights and turning signals. What brand do you recommend fro LEDs and I heard about the flasher but I dont know where to find it in my 2014 Tacoma. Any advice?

If you don't want to deal with a flasher module, lasfit turn signals are extremely bright with no hyper flash (built in resistors). The main benefit to the CF18 module is that it adds the tap to signal function. I run the lasfit signals in my supra with vleds everything else and I'm very happy with the setup.

For Tacoma use, double check if the lasfits will allow the turn signals to be on as running lights if you need them to be.
