Looks very good. I know your installation is quite recent but what is your initial feedback? (noise/grip/drivability/...).

For you tire nerds like myself. The AT4W is quite a bit different then the AT3W ck it out. There's good and bad depending what your looking for. For Tacomas I'd probably stay with the AT3W unless you want better road handling or rockcrawling. I’m coming from the Wildpeaks AT3W and so far these AT4W has been great. I do notice the longer stopping distance. As for overall noise and soft feeling, it’s probably just a placebo effect, but I think it’s very nice. Haven’t been off road yet, so nothing to report.

What lift?

 

There’s almost no noticeable increase in road noise from the stock tires.

The grip is great! Recently completed a drive from eastern NM to Phoenix taking a scenic route through national forests and was in rain pretty much the whole way. No slipping or hydroplaning at all.

There seems to be a noticeable improvement in drivability over stock. It’s possible I could just be a homer, but I swear the steering seems easier with the slightly larger diameter tires.

These are load range E and the stiffness was very evident on the 3000 mile road trip I just did, running them at 35psi. That’s the only con I can think of but it’s tolerable.

 

What psi are yall running on falken wild peak at4ws in this size? The sl version specifically

27 psi is proper for any SL 116T 265/75R16.

 

Thats what I'm running on my 265 75 r16 Toyo AT3s. Smooth!

 

Same here, they do some squeaking around turns but they run real well at this PSI. Honestly, this tire feels way better than the P265/70R16 Toyo that I tried previously. Those felt super soft.

 

Can I ask where you got those wheels or did they come with the truck?

Ended up getting some Ironman M/T 265/75r16

I have a 3inch front 2 inch rear leveling kit that ships to me tomorrow and also some 1.5 wheel spacers as well. Newbie out here so don’t hate lol… I do wish the tires were beefier but you can deff tell a difference especially getting the Mud Terrains. I am wondering if it will look weird if I lift it cause I almost feel now that it looks pretty good the height it is.
