I'm a Millionaire! One Million Posts!!
Finished up moving the remaining pieces of the big Red Oak into the woods yesterday, including this piece that was from the lowest part of the trunk. It was about 6ft long, and you can see the diameter. I didn't try to pick it up with the forks or the bucket, I figured that would be a waste of time. I'd either spray hydraulic fluid, or if I was lucky I'd just pick up the rear of the tractor. I did learn while trying to pull it down into the low area that the smaller Kubota's won't lock the front axle, only the rear. Ended up unhooking the chain and coming back around behind the big piece and nudging it down with the bucket. :anonymous:

A rub down with 00 steel wool can bring life back to old, but not broken, wiper blades.

It's a good practice for new rubber as well, 'takes off the hanging flash, and smooths the edges for better wiping action.

I dropped a 90 foot tall hemlock the other day. 18 inch ABH.
Chipped up all the branches, cut the top up in 16inch lengths to feed the fire box.
Now I have four more saw logs on the pile that just keeps growing.

I need to find someone with a portable mill! ;-)

Might have been overkill over using the hand truck...but was nice to move this solo. Wife was pleasantly surprised to see it installed when she got home. And not going to lie...its nice having two fridges now lol (the old one is in the garage now)

Yup. Gotta have a spot for your beer.
My wife laughs at me for walking to the garage every time I need a beer when I say I need the exercise

It's a sign you have made it to American dream level when you have a spare fridge & freezer.

Got one in the shop at the house, it has bottled water, snacks, and deer meat in it. I did hook up the water to it not long ago so I can have ice water in my cup when I get home :D

Growing up I loved going to my friends houses, they all had ice makers and air conditioning. We had neither until I was around 18.

My uncle kept his MTN Dew in the shop fridge so that he would have to walk out to the shop to get it. He spends most of his time out there anyways restoring Chevys.
