Anyone want to talk air compressors? I'm doing research. If I'm understanding the numbers correctly the ssw Compressor actually has more output than the Viair. The napa one looks like the same product at the Ssw without being digital. I have a digital Dewalt one that quit working. I don't want digital. So I'm thinking the napa is the way to go. What's yalls thoughts?

I know, not helpful, but I've been riding the CO2 train since 2013, and haven't looked back.
15-20 seconds per tire fill-up from 10psi to 35psi on a 35". And it runs the impact gun I keep in the truck.

    Thats
That's a nice set up. I'm just looking something small and I can take out easily. Pump up the kids bike tires, pool floats, my wife's tires, plus for wheeling weekends.

I got the 400p a couple years ago and it's been dependable if nothing else. Not particularly fast filling up 2 35s at once but it gets the job done. I haven't timed it but it doesn't take forever from 15 to 30psi and doesn't overheat.

Is it compact enough to fit laying in one of these style gun cases? I have one for my kitchen and one for recovery gear. So I'd like the compressor to fit in that one.

What's the internal height on the case? I can go out and measure the compressor after work.

I'll have to measure them this weekend. (I work away from home during the week and since my camper got crushed i didn't want to leave them in my bed. ) That grill is at least 5 inches thick though. And I have the top foam in that case. It closes fine.

Plus never worry about forgetting to fill a tank before a trip. My pump setup runs 10mins to fill 4 tires 20-40psi, I can BS while people with their walmart inflaters fill up or even air up someone else.

    CO2 is cool though

That's the 440p which is slightly more powerful and likely a tiny big larger.

I know I'm late to the party but I did a write up on a the compressor I have and I was able to put it behind my rear passenger seat.. I don't even have to remove it for small runs but if I'm airing up all 4 tires I take it out just cause it does get a little warm

I kinda want to use that once just to see how long it actually took to fill a tire

I'm pretty sure your arms and your back would give out before you aired them half that tire:rofl:

And that compressor looks exactly like the napa and ssw one. Do you think they are same products just rebranded?

Probably I think they all are off the same product line. They all claim something better than the other but to the normal guy off the streets who's not going to confirm their testing ... They can claim what they want. I only went with those lightning because they had a discount that dropped it below all the others. .. I do think a dual compressor is better than a single for longer run times. I had an arb.. it was just a single and it was good but it wasn't as mobile as I wanted.. and the ARB compressor that comes in the tool box was too bulky to put in a case. But to really answer your question.. yes I think they all are the same.. I couldn't tell the difference between the ARB, thors lightning or a buddy's viair. Do I believe thor lightnings claim of 10.6 cfm not really when all the others on the market are less and around the same
