Supposed to warm up in the coming days. Nice thing about the Google Nest thermostat is if I see it's turning out to be a warm day I can shut the heat off from my phone.

 

My wife will complain that she's hot in summer and wants to turn the a/c colder and I always have to point out that she's wearing her morning "comfy" clothes which is sweat pants and a sweat shirt. Idk, maybe shorts and a t-shirt and you wouldn't be so hot.

 

Mine is happy with it at 70 degrees in the house in the summer but cold with it at 70 degrees in the winter. I guess summer 70 is different than winter 70.

 

I'll turn on the AC if it gets hot in the house, but..

I work from home, prefer not to be pouring sweat while doing so.

I'm usually just wearing shorts

 

So I just found out that this "points" thing we have at work can be redeemed for gift cards, and one of those places that we can get gift cards for is Game Stop!

SSD on the company's "money" it is!

Not so bad, I used to use mine at Crutchfield..worked out to be the best value as well.

Could you use an external drive on it?

 

I think I could, but it would look "weird" having something like that sitting next to it. With the SDD it's internal, so you don't see it. Looks "cleaner".

 

Just got back home from a work trip to Birmingham and Atlanta. Wooof. I am shot.

Happy Friday Eve....Seems I am now fighting something. Been feeling rundown for a few days but between the itchy eyes, sneezing, beat up feeling, I think its catching up with me. Looks like bed early and some rest tonight is on the menu.

Got the SSD and already installed it. I only paid $11 bucks after using 2 $50 gift cards that I got by cashing in some points I had.

Moved the games over from the console storage to the new storage.

Starting to think I should have cashed in more points and got the 2TB storage instead of the 1TB storage.

Oh well. It'll do for now.

Been working at the warehouse every day this week, helping set up for that.
