Maaaan, I have to say the Sega Saturn controller's D pad is a nice step up from the Genesis 6 button controller I used for years

    Fenrir showed up

    Literally a 5 minute install

    20241018_093049.jpg

    20241018_094008.jpg

Games appear on a list after the initial start-up screen

    20241018_095315.jpg

    And play like normal

Just rains here so far, in town anyway. Snows hitting the mountain, hopefully putting the Yellow Lake fire out

Only thing I need now is a 3D printed holder cause the two pins it uses isn't enough

If we're doing weather reports, we dipped itnto the low 50s this morning. Back to mid 60s today, then kissing 70 the rest of the month with lows at night in the high 50s.

And my passenger door lock decided to shit itself today, so at least the weather is nice for pulling the panel again from inside the cab. Always fun.

So TIL. BMW solders on key fob batteries on certain E90 model cars like it’s a Gameboy cartridge. They offered a different model fob with a door on the back and replaceable battery but my coworkers fobs are both the soldered version.

Also found this out in the lot while heading to lunch.

I'm exaggerating on that front, but I've always been wondering when I'd see one. I see plenty with everything but the kitchen sink (and the tv) bolted to the sides

I wouldn't want to do it every weekend but a sportsball watch party/cookout in a secluded alpine meadow could be a nice time.

If we're being honest though it's just an excuse to drink beers with friends in an interesting place. I don't even like sportsball.
