Is this normal for front turn signal lights? Flipped?

Hey everyone, I recently noticed a lot of other Tacomas on the road, and even some Tundras.. they have their accessory lights ON at the (A in picture) bulb-spot.. and the turn signal lights are in the (B in picture) bulb-spot..

However, mines has it the other way around. The (B in picture) bulb-spot is always on as a steady light. Just like the front headlights. And my turn signal lights are in the (A in picture) bulb-spot.

Is there anything I can do to switch it over? Asking because I think it helps for visibility when indicating my turn signal at a 4 way stop.. or just in general.

 

What @caribe makaira is trying to say is your truck might be a Canadian market truck. My truck is an Alberta truck and the light layout is the same as yours.

@TegoTaco. What was yours like prior to the retros?

 

If the bulb socket is the same size, just reverse it or tap into the blinker wires & have dual signals.

When the truck is on, the DRL/turn signal only comes on. Corner lights only come on when the lights are turned on.

Even with my retros, nothings changed.

 

Was your truck imported from the US?

Maybe whoever did the Canadian spec compliance for the DRL, wired it that way. Try to look for non OEM wiring near the parking lights and DRL.

When I had my XRUNNER, they wired the headlight bulbs as my DRL.

 

Make sure to apologize to said tree afterwards though
