Not too bad. Picture perfect weather these last few days, for me anyway. Cold mornings and clear, sunny days mostly.

I had an interview on Tuesday for an entry level Help Desk position, haven't heard back yet....

Had an interview with HE Recruiter for another company, for a "full paying" Incident Management position on Thursday. Really hoping that one will come through, as it pays enough that we would be able to make our mortgage and car payments, as well as everything else. And if I can start working before 1 December, I'll be able to make the January 1st mortgage payment. Our 6 months of mortgage payments curtesy of the KY State funded "Save My KY Mortgage" program ends with the 1 December payment. So if I'm not working a full paying job by then, we will have to move out in November and hope this place will sell.

I have heard about PG&E. We had then, up in the Placerville area. I still have lots of friends in the Placerville-Jackson-Ione areas, and one of them posdted some info about PG&E power downs a few days ago. Just one of the many, many things I do not miss about California

True, but Uncle Gavin will still tell SMUD to pull the plug for no reason, as well as PG&E.

Man I can't stand infected inner ears. That's the worst pain. Makes me itch just thinking about it.

In my scuba days I got them every time I was less than diligent about flushing my ears after every dive.

That's probably why I got them frequently as a kid too. Always swimming in the lake. Worst one was when I was a kid, infection got bad enough that the whole inner sinus swole up shut. All night pressure kept building, I was curled up hoping the pain would let up just a little. And oddly enough, it did. I remember hearing a funny little noise and the pain went away instantly. It was such a relief I passed out from exhaustion.

In the morning my pillow was red. Turns out the relief was a ruptured ear drum. I remember thinking, well, this sucks, but it's still better than that infection.

I had ear tubes as a kid and have built up scares tissue in my drums. I get them due to the change of seasons.
