    Both of those are very cool. Clearly not owned by a kid. How could a kid have those and not play with them?

    I haven't had luck in my neck of the woods. I'm still on the look out for the new Hot Wheels that tickle me fancy. Though the internet can be a dangerous place.

    I already have a model of my car in 1/64, posted earlier. But this 1/43 version from the same brand is closer in detail to mine. I'm just ignoring the fact that the model is supposed to be a RHD hybrid, and mine isn't. Though I'm just happy to buy a mini version of my car at all!

    It's always cool to me to have a mini of your car! Once I got the Supra I was immediately looking for one, plus I finally could build my car in video games like Forza :cool:

    This is how I got started collecting. Bought one car I saw at the store because it looked like mine. Then at the store another time and bought another, then another….

    @williams63 or anyone else...

    I post these loose cars on here and in the past I've used Google Lens to help me identify what year they are from. Unfortunately, Google Lens has recently changed and I am not getting the results like I have in the past. Does anyone know of a resource to help identify old Matchbox and Hot Wheels?

    If I’m looking for a year I usually go by my book. I have a Hot Wheels book and somewhere a Lesney/Matchbox book that I can’t seem to find. You can’t always go by the date on the bottom of the car.

    I’ve never checked. Both of mine are older so the price guide is off but I don’t use it for that.

    Working on my custom build. Sorry if this has been asked, but does anyone have tips on where to find any of the 3rd gen models in stores? I haven't had any luck and unfortunately melted the plastic on this one while baking the shell. Spending $15 on Amazon seems ridiculous.

    Except for the 55 Chevrolet Belair these have all gone into the box marked yard sale. I have no idea what the Nascar stuff is worth but apparently not much. The Richard Petty car was going for $15 at the flea market recently. Before Nascar flooded the market and ruined everything these pieces would go for 3 times what they do now. The 58 Buick still has value and saw one of those going for $30 not long ago.TACO World hot wheels pics 057.jpg TACO World hot wheels pics 059.jpg TACO World hot wheels pics 056.jpg

    Pair of 55 Chevrolets with wheels swaps and details added. The light brown and maroon one was originally all maroon. Pretty happy with the way that one turned out. My recent count, I have 64 different variations of this car now.
