Need help identifying this wire

Noticed these two wires were disconnected need help identifying them

 

It doesn't look factory to me.
Looks like someone removed a previously installed accessory.
They cut the wires and tapped the end. I'd rather cap it with butt connector.
Just in case the tape ever "falls off".

 

that’s what I figured. This was a fleet truck prior to it being handed to me. Just didn’t realize these wires till recently when I was cleaning the inside. I hope it’s not some important OEM wire. Would there be an indicator on the dash if it was indeed a factory wiring? Not familiar with electrical wiring at all

 

Follow it ans see where it goes. That is what I would do.
