    Hey there,

I just bought a 2017 TRD OR, and it came with a 2” body lift and 265/70/R17 wheels.

I’m going to remove the lift to go back to stock height (personal preference on looks), and I also want to change the rims and rubber.

I’ve been eyeing the Nomad 501 rims because the look kinda like steelies but are lighter. I see there are a few offset options available to me:

My preference would be a 16” rim with 265/70/R16 tires. The rim at this size is only available in a -10 offset.

    If I want a 0 offset, I need to go to a 17” rim instead (on 265/70/R17).

Will both fit without any rubbing or cutting needed? I’m striving for a near-stock look with nicer rims.

Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question, I’m new to this vehicle and modding in general.

I’d go with the 17” wheel more choices in wheels and tires. You didn’t mention wheel width. 17x8 0 offset and 265/70/17 and call it good.

Thanks, and apologies for leaving that out. The Nomad 501s at 17" 0 offset are 17x8.5 (if that's what you're asking).

As an aside - given that I'm mostly going to be doing highways to easy-access camp sites, and maybe the odd light dirt track - would pizza cutters be a viable option? 255/70/R17 or something.

There’s only a .4 difference in the section width between the 255 and 265 and .5 difference in height. So not gonna see a noticeable difference so imo it’s preference.
