Warmer today at 70, but cloudy and a bit foggy so far.
Today’s plan is to put stuff back in the bed of my Taco. Made a sheathing floor with bed pad yesterday and mounted a refrigerator slide on it for my Iceco fridge. I’ll need the granddaughter to help me install it. It’s awkward as well as heavy! Don’t want to hurt myself doing it alone!
Got to make a quick grocery run before lunch to get the granddaughter some corn tortillas for our tacos lunch. Then I need to figure out what to make for dinner.
Need to get the cover installed on the Casita. May not get to that today.

Here’s wishing everyone a pain free and active day! Get a little vitamin D outside today!

:ranger" sixtys/wannabes/hipsters. We're in store for another day of perfect weather, sigh. We NEED some rain, but there is none in the forecast.

I had a hip done at 60 years of age. It's probably the standard method now but be sure they go in the front, not in the side; "anterior approach" is the term I recall. It makes a huge difference in terms of recovery and joint stability because they don't cut any of the supporting muscle tissue. I stayed overnight after my surgery and went home the next morning. The hip pain was gone, replaced by pain from the incision etc. That went away fairly quickly and within 6 weeks I was literally able to dance a jig. My advice: git 'er done!

Funny thing about the hip replacement was that I didn't realize how much range of motion I had lost until after it was replaced. Those muscles and tendons shrank over the course of many years, as the joint got worse and total movement reduced. It took considerable time to limber them up again. Be patient, keep at it.

I have a 3 story house. Bought it back in 04. The first winter we had a few heavy rain storms (not real rare in the PNW) it tore off the gutter run on the back of the house. I used that as an excuse to replace the entire house with Leafguard. Best investment. They worked great. I cleaned off the top of them once or twice in 18-19 yrs. Because when the top gets dirty it interferes with the water flow into the gutter and they tend to drip.
Last winter while away for 3 mos. we had a wind storm (also not rare in the PNW) and a tree fell and hit my roof damaging a 40ft section of gutter. I called Leafguard, they sent out a field rep and after 30 minutes he gave me a quote of $8,000 to replace that section of gutter.
After a long ordeal of arguing with the field rep, his supervisor, and his supervisor I came to the conclusion that Leafguard has a patent on their design and no regular gutter company will piece my gutters back together. So even knowing they had the only game in town, they finally saw fit to lower the price to $2500. That shows what a mark up they get for their product. It’s a good product, no doubt, but damn costly.

Wow! They must have a lot of customers up there. My single story was about $2200, which since I was working, I paid over time. But, they have absolutely worked as promised. We put up barrels, and you would not believe how fast all that runoff fills them up in even a light rain.

Another confused weatherman day! Either sunny or mostly cloudy. High winds, 33 mph, or breeze, 7 mph. Possible showers, 35%, or none. What ever they say, I’m certain there will be weather today.
On the current side, it is snowing in the mountains! Yeah! Some moisture of some kind!
Wifey sent this pic from a giant pumpkin festival in Pittsburgh, I thought you might enjoy.

Kettlebell day! Then work on the truck bed stuff. Need to figure out some heat…Truma, Wave 3, diesel, etc.

Have a magnificent Monday! Get outside and soak in the vitamin D!

I'm pretty sure the guy has stock in the company that produces them, or sells them himself... or it's some kind of fetish.
