    About finger width. And I’ll bring it up another 1/2 inch strapped. So it’s not even an issue. Funny that you ask that considering that is what I was just doing….checking clearances.

    They don’t flow well enough. Not saying you can’t make smoothies work. But it will never be close to a bypass.

    May not be perty but she’s all plated and welded in. The frame in this section just sucks balls. It’s not flat, the upper half sits at a higher level than the bottom half. Taking the coil bucket out exposes a big dip in the frame….prolly 3/16 deep and 4 inches wide. Just beat the shit out of the steel to make it somewhat form to the frame. I’m going with it’s better than nothing.

    Did you look at any of those pre made frame plates? I think mine came from trail gear or something. Might have made it a hair easier to have a flat starting point to work from.

    @Airdog here they are-

    Took this out for a solid rip in the fall colors last night. Finally encountered the situation I’ve been waiting for. A hit so hard it blew the PRV open and ripped the wheel from my hands.

    I don’t think any rack out there would have survived said event. But we’re still driving like nothing ever happened.

    I’m gonna say this thing is a win at this point.

    Also here to say, never trust a kit that uses 250psi rated hose for a return. Because it absolutely would have detonated in this situation. Power steering fluid+hot exhaust=not good.

    To be 100% fair, it was a gigantic hole filled with leaves and was level with the road. 100% booby trap stuff.
