Tiff and I(and others), went out to a BBQ spot in Sharon, CT, then home by way of the berkshires(i.e., the long way home).. 220+ miles. I know it isn't what you meant, but, running out of season to enjoy the new bike.

I feel your pain. That is how mine is built. Everything becomes a damn nightmare.
I pay a carpenter now. Beyond my skills.

I think a body mount relocation is a cheaper easier way for 34s. The jd kit I see filling in like the 37 range and strengthening the whole subframe
Yeah I did some research before and people say it’s a 2 day project if you’re quick about it shops charging usually around $1500 ish for install. I’d help you out a bunch if you want me to do it.

Wouldn’t suggest the flux 125 for that… don’t want to end up like Matt but your lcas instead

I don’t mind the carpentry at all. I actually worked in a cabinet shop and helped my uncle build our addition when I was like 15. Insulating takes forever just going around all the different supports and random pieces of wood they nailed in 300 years ago.

Oh man we enjoyed the day. I took a half tomorrow. I'm going to come home and roast my behind in the sun all afternoon. Maybe including day drinking boxed wine. I know next week it'll be cool and time to do real adult things.

Send me that recipe. That's all I'm asking. :D

We had a boat load of leftover Chinese food so i cobbled that together with some leftover smoked frozen pulled pork. Not nearly as exciting.

Way more forgiving. If you are 1/8" off on a weld it's scrap. 1/8" off on sheetrock and that's what mud is for. There's a wide gap between crap and show-home worthy.

I fumble through a lot DIY. Nowadays it's less lack of ability and more desire to not spend the time on it.

I may have asked this earlier but I forgot.

Do we do any snow or night wheeling?

Figured I'd ask seeing that it gets dark earlier and snow is soon to come.

I'm with Jared. I think snow NMW could be fun, if I knew I'd never have to get out of a nice, warm cab. But icy rocks is not a recipe for success. RI spot when there's no snow on the ground is nice to scratch the itch in the winters, but otherwise, I am not a fan of slip sliding, and in general, I hate the cold.

But I know a few people who do enjoy that sort of thing, if you're looking for it.

I’d be down for a night run but snow would have to be like @GarlicFarts said. Basically flat. Not a lot to crash into.

In my mind show wheeling is just plowing trail, no actual crawling. But anything that could be fun for that is probably snowmobile trail so :notsure:

We've done a few snow wheeling runs at the "local" spots when there was a decent amount of cover on the ground. Big 'ol winch fest. And digging. Lots of digging.

I've done quite a bit of night wheeling with ENH at their toyota takeover. Night wheeled MA Bell a few times too.

Snow is a different animal that if you're going to do anything technical just be prepared for body damage. Good reason for 2 of my bigger dents

As for winter/snow, there is a dirt type road that runs from Bangor towards the east and comes out on a main road (I’d have to research) that I ran some time ago, lots of side trails to play in the snow use winches to haul folks out.

it was the first trip I took with anyone off TW.
