Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

When we bought our home last year we financed through Zillow. Less than 2 months later they sold our loan to Flagstar bank. Got a letter Saturday our mortgage is now with Mr. Cooper.

Yepp, Mr. Cooper is who our mortgage payment will be made out to

 

Very, very typical. When I bought my house I used a local lender Homespire. Before my first payment it was sold off to a company that was touted as the "happiest mortgage company" or something like that. Then a year later it was branded another name, but same company. Luckily my online login details were the same. Don't know if it'll eventually be sold off. Low interest mortgages aren't the most profitable.

 

We had them in AZ.

 

We're Mr. Cooper buddies!

Mine started at a local mortgage company, got sold off the SunTrust (who absolutely sucked) and after refinancing a few years ago, we're with Mr. Cooper. No complaints with them.

 

Ours is automatically drafted the 1st of the month from our checking, the letter says nothing needs to be done on our end for it to continue the same way.

When Zillow sold it to Flagstar they failed to report it to our insurance company.

I talked to our agent before it renewed and he ask me if it had been sold. I said yes but that's not my responsibility to tell you that since they are paying it with it included in our loan.

I guess he got it figured out.

Walking into work today and noticed one of our riggers tool boxes was gone.. haven't officially been told that he quit yet. But I'd say that's a pretty safe guess. Boss man wants me to work Fridays again. I don't particularly want to. I've been telling them for over a year that they needed to hire someone and get em trained.. now it's hitting the fan. Guess I got to decide if I'll do Fridays or if I'm hardballing them.

I'm guessing I'll either keep my schedule, or have a new one at a different job

Didn’t deal with home loan yet unfortunately!

 

Put a set of Cooper tires on my wife's car in July, I guess he liked me


I wonder if he'll give me a rebate on my mortgage like he did the tires

Been a while since I checked in here, I hope you fared well through the hurricane in your neck of the woods? I saw a whole bunch of destruction on the Virginia creeper Trail, which I hope they repair!

We did, it was to the west of us. We got some wind and 3" of rain and no damage, it was rough in many places!!!
