Blower motor connector burnt!!

    You say ohms law still applies right. A loose terminal adds resistance to the circuit. IAW ohms law: as resistance increases current flow decreases.

    Di-electric grease is a insulator and doesn't the conductive abilities of the connector.

    But do it your way. It isn't worth arguing about it.

    Sometimes you can melt things by having loose connectors because they arc every time they lose contact under load. Makes a surprising amount of heat.

    im not arguing, you are. The wire is 1000% too small. The loose connection is 1000% speculation.

    yes, the grease is an insulator but I would also speculate and additionally use it to stabilizes any loose connector pins due to its consistency.

    minor tweaks
    The above issue was 100% caused by a poor connection between the spade and the socket part of the ground lead in the connector, poor connection causes an increase in resistance which causes heat in a location where it's not designed for the addl heat. wire size is not the issue with that failure, if it was it wouldn't have started in the connector. . Saying it's the wire size when the heat started in the connector and worked back is speculation and incorrect. Had the connector not failed I doubt there would have been an issue.
