There are some things you can't put a price on. When I started motorcycle riding many years ago I got the best helmet I could find. I've had Bell, Shoei, Arai, and Simpson. Always replaced when "expired". To me decent tires and a top of the line properly fitting helmet are a necessity on a bike. Otherwise to me... don't ride.

LOL! That links specifically says "Does not ship to the United States" :rofl:If that rear view function actually works though, that's nuts!

Agreed! Which is why this helmet has always served it's main purpose, which is protection - it still offers that to me which is probably why I've been so slow to upgrade.

I was trying to find another listing quickly. I bought directly from the company and got it from the UK. It was DOT labeled. There used to be a Reevu America distributer that had FB presence.

It works like a damn champ. Just look up at the adjustable mirror. Sitting right next to me:

    Seriously!

There was a Scully effort a while back where they were trying to do a battery powered thing with a reticule between your eye and visor. Friggin' stoopid. They took a bunch of folks money and only delivered a few.

It adds a bit of height and some ounces to a helmet, but I am with you there. After this long, I am surprised that no one engineered their own or licensed the design.

In H.S. a friend deliberately pointed his washer fluid nozzles toward the sidewalk so he could spray other students walking into school.
(He filled it with water)

    Hahahaha!

It is soooo difficult keeping the lips zipped.

But then, co-workers will offer up: Did you / did you not ride today? FFS. The back of my mind wants to say: Did walk today? :frusty:
