That’s awesome, you’ll make some anti rattle shims. Can you get it level with the bed pockets/notches with tail gate down, 4x8 ,4x10 ?

    Don’t need shims.. it’s fine.
I’ll lay the sheets on the bed floor up against the wheel wells. Will hang about 1 1/2 ft over the end of the extension.
There is a slot over the wheel well that can handle a sheet of ply but then the outside end is not supported.
I have a cool idea for a spacer for various length boards.

:hattip: Good evening... Close to calling it a day. hang out with my 5 yr old granddaughter 'til noon, drove by a jammed Costco (1st day of the latest monthly sale flyer), went home had a bite of lunch, and drove to Post Falls to visit In Control Hobbies since she told me she wants a 'remote control car' for her birthday next month and put my name in for a pink 1/24 Axial Base Camp, as they have one of each color coming in a couple weeks. They don't have much space in their shop, and they've been pulling all the spring shock RC trucks since people prefer the oil suspension coil-over versions. Even an indoor/dry weather outdoor truck should get her engaged outside the videos.
I watched an episode of "Outdoor Boys" at Kotlik, and followed with a year old episode where Luke spends four days solo camping on a beach, North Gulf of Alaska coast. Hey that was Cordova, Alaska, and he flew out to the USFS cabin at Hook Point, which was my family's favorite. It's on the "outside beach" more for beachcombing, watching oil tankers coming in from over the horizon to Valdez, hanging out, watching the nearby marmot... We're getting more roundabouts, and I'm getting used to the multi-lane ones. Sleep well all, and we'll hit it hard tomorrow. (I need to find the small red snow shovel for my grandson, 2 yrs old on Saturday, and a big kid!) :turtleride: into the sunset...

Taking today off for some trip prep. Some good friends have a cabin up on Moosehead Lake in northern Maine. They purchased it back in 1984. I was a freshman in HS. My dad and I have gone up at least once a year consecutively since. There's been years when I went up 4-6 times each year for spring fishing and hunting in the fall (back when I had GSP's). This is year 40. My Dad's still doing well at 85 (still healthy and active). We're heading up tomorrow for 4 nights of R&R and some bird hunting. I happily do all the driving and cooking now. My Dad's job is to keep the woodstove fed. Looking forward to it. The GB is all ready to go. I know the logging/forest roads very well in that enormous region. Countless and priceless memories.
