that dump date most likely won’t surface for a few weeks. You can call buffalo trace and they should be able to tell you what region of the US it got distributed to

 

Wouldnt have given this a try if it wasnt in the discount rack and was the last bottle.

When you guys say pours, do yall measure them, or just plop in half a whisky cup?

 

I went to Ukraine back in December. When I came back I met up with a local liquor store guy, Ukrainian heritage. Whenever I go in now, he gives me a gratis bottle of something interesting. I always feel guilty. Not really a vodka guy, but hey, it looks pretty cool eh! Ukranian vodka, and Georgian wine. Both very excellent. Only Vodka I've had better is from Mongolia when I went last year.

 

I don't measure, but mine are generally about 1.5-2oz with a free-handed pour..

 

1 oz in the Glencairn if the wife is keeping an eye, 2 oz when I know it's good, and 3 oz, when the devil is telling me on Friday night "go ahead, you deserve this"

 

or .5 oz if it's an 0311

 

I have no idea what an 0311 is, but I feel like that calls for a hearty half a glass free hand pour

 

I need to measure my glass so I know how many oz Im drinking per pour…usually about 150mls

 

Fun fact…..at the widest part of your glencairn, the liquid measurement is 1.5 oz

 

Sorry to hear that. We lost our 8 year old Golden to it last July. In the world works in weird ways my daughter wanted to get another dog after a couple of months and the one we ended up getting (Siberian Husky) was born on the same day our dog passed.
