Interesting... So those tires are actually designed to look like that... How old and how many miles are on your tires?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Out of curiosity, since you're running pretty common overseas Profender shocks/coilovers, english seems maybe like a second language (no offense, better than most i read here) and you have sand specific tires... are you in the UAE? That kind of changes what we'd recommend, the US doesn't have much terrain like the dunes out there.

Cool, it's unfortunate you didn't get asked and/or inform others what kind of tires they actually are because they don't need to be replaced at all it seems...

Your "off road" is actually Sand Dunes. I'm not sure if Duratrac's would be the recommended tire for this off road application?

This suspension question/thread went incorrectly way off topic because of some incorrect assumptions....

Are those giant, inline compression stops around the shafts of those rear shocks? If so, I have not seen them that big before.

It's hard to tell from just the pictures you've posted but your leafs do look pretty flat, especially for an empty bed.

f you're in the UAE, there is a very large supply of wrecked Tacomas and 4Runners, which means a large supply of wheels and leaf packs that will fit your truck. I don't know if there are "You Pick" junkyards there, but if so, you may be able to find a 2nd gen Tacoma with leaf packs (common decent aftermarket that wasn't worth pulling for individual sale) for pretty cheap that will work for you while you figure out what to go with for your full setup.

Originally, I was going to say a new leaf spring pack (whichever you choose) with lift through arc, increases the uptravel range at the shock by increasing the distance between the rear bump stop and frame strike point.

An add a leaf increases leaf strength and lift, and lengthens the shock in doing so, but does not add much if any arc.

Most speed over desert guys want more rear uptravel over stock and new leaf packs with lift provides it.

Definitely am gonna get a new set of leaf packs but still didn’t decide which one. Here in Dubai we have some dealers like ARB, Ironman, Dobinsons, Icon and some others but I am not sure if Tacoma’s leafs are available with them

All of those companies make packs for the Tacoma - ARB is probably the #1 global producer of Tacoma packs (under the OME line) by volume. Icon leaf packs are very highly regarded, but any of them will do. You may want to talk to people locally about what specific packs are common for the kind of wheeling you do - high speed loose dunes are not extremely common runs in North America. Maybe check in thr California regional forums.

As expected. Stronger leafs with the same weight in rear = stiffer ride. No way around that.

Solution: add weight. At least a few hundred pounds of anything. Chunks of steel, bags of sand, bricks, whatever.

Edit: Use anything for ballast temporarily to figure out how much weight is needed for a comfortable ride. But in the long term, use sand bags or permanently-fixed (welded or bolted) ballast.

In a serious accident, unsecured solid objects in the rear are likely to become projectiles & could penetrate the rear window glass & enter the passenger cabin.
