Crazy weather up here. Last week it was like a wet November, this week it’s like May. We still have some hanging plants that are throwing new buds.. Currently a balmy 51 with a high guessed to be 72.

    Happy Wednesday y’all :hattip:

Good morning guys, have a great Wednesday.

Really nice weather down here too, mid 80's through the weekend and low humidity.

Safe travels Rusty @RustyGreen  for car parts and lunch choices

Guy from the local bolt/fitting place came by yesterday with this piece off of a carburetor for one of his customers.

He brought a 3/8” inverted flare plug and a 3/8” pipe thread with 5/16” barb.

He wanted me to “make it work” and needed it ASAP.

Told the boss I’d be back. Went to O’Reilly auto parts and they had what he needed. $6.41

He has yet to come back for it.

    Morning shop:hattip:hope all is well

Due to the recent retirement and some previously scheduled days off for the other employee I'm the only shop hand here for the rest of this week and on Thursdays for the foreseeable future. Be interesting to see how this all plays out

Week 11 for me out here in the shop, alone, and the work is piling up. Gonna be interesting here as well as everything is turning hot and 1 person can only do so much.

Best of luck to you and your situation

    Another happy camper! :fistbump:
Those threads sizes confusions can be dangerous, especially for application involve fuel lines.

Agreed. We've been short staffed for over a year. This certainly won't help. That work does pile up doesn't it :rofl:told the manager I can only do what I can do. Everything else will be there tomorrow

I went in my bosses office Friday and ask him about the potential raise he mentioned and when. I had a number in mind but let him lay his cards down first. He hit me with more than I was thinking and told me it would be January 1st. I said that is fine, how about giving me 3 more days of vacation as well? He looked at the calendar for a moment and said he could do that too. Hopefully I can continue learning the lathe and can keep up out here.
