Not to mention, I’ve seen first hand what happens when a shaft breaks. Goodbye oil pressure….

100% will ditch 4x4 before doing something like that.

I went with it because of the cost and the availability of parts/aftermarket support. I have the option to gain more HP for a relatively small amount of $$$. I didn't cut into the firewall but massaged it back as the bell housing on the 4l80e is a monster compared to the A750F. I dropped the engine as much as I could front diff permitting and still was able to keep the radiator / AC condenser plus a Derale transmission cooler up front. If I ditch the mechanical fan, the real estate for electric fan/ radiator setups becomes much easier.

Dollar for dollar they can’t be beat. Moruzzi quoted me 17k for a full turn key package that makes 700hp. All accessories, harness, pcm. Everything. I thought that was pretty dang legit.

When I was pricing out a reliable 700hp JZ build we hit the 30k mark and I tucked tail.

Had a set of 16 inch triple bypasses in the bag but the guy wants to use zelle. Been scammed before with zelle so have to find another set.

This is how I feel anytime someone wants to use something other than PayPal, but they always ask for something else... no I don't have CashApp or Venmo because I'm not buying drugs. Zelle is supported by my bank natively so I have it but I don't use it for anything unless it's in person.

being a sheep allowed me to have my first 300 hp build on a college budget (<$1000 swap) a decade and a half ago.... although LS swaps weren't nearly as common back then yet

what is the point of 700hp on dirt in a small truck ? Think about it, you've probably got 170 to the ground right now ( maybe ) so even 300 to the tires would be almost double. I'm all for wasting money on useless sh*t but the $ to get 700 and upgrade everything else on the truck to handle 700 just seems stupid

As someone who currently has 345hp and 422ft lb of torque at the wheels in a 1st gen, yeah I agree it is already beyond dangerous as is... my next dyno session I'm still shooting for 400whp tho :p
