    That part number you listed is for the adapter. The picture is wrong for whatever stupid reason, lol.

    OP, if you add the OEM connector you won't need that gadget. The OEM has it already. OEM is a 7/4 type.

    This adaptor changes a 7-pin to a 4-pin if you need to run a more basic trailer. As @caribe makaira said, the OEM connector (for a 3rd gen) has both a 7 pin and a 4 pin connector already. My 2nd gen needs one of these, as they only came with a 7-pin.

    Got it. I have a wiring harness with a 4 pin connector and want to connect it to the a oem connector that ill install into the box I have on my bumper
