I'm 6'5" with a 37" inseam, the last gen were a total no go. Oddly the 4Runner was fine (last gen).

I'm curious if anyone knows if the 4th gen has ergos more like the 4Runner, seat higher over the floor and a roof line that allows line of sight out the windshield.

I've got a '19 Tundra and I just don't need the size of it.

Commenting as I’d also like to know! I got a 3rd gen, and constantly bending over to see traffic lights :)

Why is every man on the Internet freakishly tall and every woman unbelievably petite?

The 4runner has a completely different seating position. I barely fit in my Tacoma, I could see why you have a problem.

If the seating position is anything like the new land cruiser/GX you should fit. Go try one.

I’m 6’6” and traded in a 3rd gen for a 4th, it is so much more comfortable than the 3rd. More leg room and head room. I can actually move the seat up a notch or two and still be totally comfortable.

I’m 6’6” and the Gen 3 trucks are awful for a really tall driver. My Gen 2, and even my Gen 1 are better. I gotta sit in a Gen 4 to see — the idea that the new model has more room would be a move in the right direction, IMO.

I'm 6'4 and I fit in the 4th gen perfectly. I don't have the moonroof in mine, which I actually like because it buys me a little more room. I didn't own a 3rd gen but I did look at them before getting my 4th gen. Overall seat position/comfort was night and day compared to the 3rd gen.

Sorry kingsqueak - Philogiston, you have me in tears... I'm a shortie and when I hit my head, I look up to the heavens and express gratitude for thinking I grew an inch.

Reviving this thread to see if there are any more anecdotes out there! I'm 6'5 and went to a dealer to see if I fit. Was a 4th gen with power seats and moonroof. My head was completely into the roof! Needed another couple inches of space easily. Going to try to find one without the moonroof and see if it makes enough of a difference. Headspace in my gen2 isn't a problem. Really hoping I can upgrade to a 4th gen 6 speed manual when the time is right!

Did you have the power seat all the way down?

I have the premium. It has a sunroof. I am 6’3” i have to tilt the seat back or my hair brushes the roof occasionally. My friend that is 6’6 top of his head is in the sun roof area. He wanted one but is going to test drive one with no sunroof first.

I drive mine with the seat all the way up. It was designed for normal people. :D

6’2” 190 with 36” inseam and I have no issues. Seat is all the way low, I actually have it about an inch from farthest back position. I probably still have 3-4” above my head with sunroof shade closed.

I’m 6’6” and fit very comfortably in the 4th gen. It’s a huge improvement over the 3rd gen.

At 6'3" I fit a lot better in the 2024 then I did in my old 2007 -- Both with no Sun or moon roof.

Assuming this is without moonroof? You're taller than me and my head was jammed!
