I mean it’s at sticker price used but the market is quite wonky on used Tacomas.
I would probably buy a new 25 model for 45k

First truck has factory-installed LED headlights and fogs, same as my truck.
Technology package gives you gives you Blind Spot Monitoring and Cross path detection, LED headlights and fog lights. Window sticker info is confirmed by Toyota's website.

Toyota info from the VIN look up:
    1st truck:
    upload_2024-10-24_12-29-0.png

    2nd truck
    upload_2024-10-24_12-30-39.png

No Technology package, LED headlights not mentioned on the sticker OR Toyota VIN look up tool. More than likely added afterwards (I can see LED headlights in the picture), since it is lacking a button for Blind Spot Monitor in the central cluster..

Second truck has ditch lights. Inspect frame and underbody for off-road damage.

Personally, I would go with the 1st option, unless you do not want a moon roof. Premium package will have it.

    this!
If you do proceed with a sale, most dealerships will have a document you sign showing what is owed,, GET THIS!
When I traded in my Wrangler oil-burner, I had to sign this, as part of the sales, I owed them the second key/fob and the soft top.
Hell, my GF's brother did it to her! Years ago, she bought a used Grand Cherokee from him under the condition it was to have the dog hair removed and something else small I can't remember. The dealership wouldn't do shit about it, as he already left. They had it out over it, and I think the conclusion was: he didn't realize how much it would cost to have then done, and he assumed his boys in the back would do it for a McD's cheeseburger, and they gave him the finger.
The salesmen can say whatever, but the dealer's shop won't pay for shit without that document. In other words; sales is just yeah yeah to move the sales with no intentions or commit from the actual owner (the dealer).

I never $39,000 is too much. I got my 2023 Tacoma brand new for around $39,000. Price is $46,000 over, in my location for 4th Gen. If OP willing to spend money, go 4 gen.

At OP, if it were me, I would go and look at the truck in the first link.
1st truck is Access cab too, so it will have a 6ft bed too.

Absolutely this. I paid about the same for ‘23 TRDOR DCSB with 6100 miles at the end of ‘23. Only regret is not getting the LEDs. Gonna be an expensive lesson.

Carmax offer for my truck just now, in the same zip code as Wilsonville Toyota with 11k miles, non premium TRD Off-Road, OEM LED headlights, perfect condition, garage kept is $35,400, so the Wilsonville Toyota truck is worth somewhere between $35k-$40k. Used car values have been dropping lately.

ok so since the dealership has to eat too 40k would be a reasonable price? Found another one for 41 that has all the bells and whistles with clothes seats. Oem led light, Toyota sensor etc and has 11k miles for 41k

    Bed lights too

I will say the bed lights are a nice feature for sure. I thought it was $39k? $40k... Well, I only paid $500 more for mine brand new, so that would be a hard pill to swallow, but it beats paying $50k for a new one. You'll have to make that call. The prices on these fluxgate like the stock market and these are a depreciating asset, so your job isn't to feed your salesman... Just find one you like at a reasonable price to you and drive the wheels off because it's a great truck.

the led headlights are only 700 more on the sticker but if you add led headlights your self they cost 1600 plus a harness plus labor if some shop would even do the conversion, and who knows if dealer will warranty them if there is a problem

my 2 cents....the extra stuff is worth it, and there are not enough 2023's with low miles around to create a price war......they might come off 1 or 2k.....its the end of the month.....cloth seems better that the tacoma leather to me

Make em put it in writing and go from there.

Used dealer but when we bought the wife's Rav4 we negotiated tires and front brake job, and got it written. The salesperson seemed nice enough and I don't get the sense he was trying to get over. When we went to pick it up the brakes were done, tires were not..the tires were dry rotted enough that it wouldn't get an inspection sticker and I didn't feel safe with them either. I found the salesperson and mentioned nicely the tires hadn't been done. Suffice to say he was less than pleased and I got to watch him chew out the service guy for it :)
