You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Kwik Trip.
With all their business you at least know their gas is fresh.

 

It's amazing how a Kwik Trip can be busy as all hell and a gas station 1 block away is dead.

 

You should try the fried chicken,
or the chicken tenders that are like a whole fat chicken breast.

 

There's a Kwik Trip in E.C. on Water St. (where all the college kids are).

It's a store in a building with no gas at all. Just a Kwik Trip store.

 

Mall of America did

 

We have a liquor store on the north side that's called kwik spirits, but is affiliated with kwik trip.

 

The fried chicken is definitely not bad. I also like the parmesan garlic chicken nuggets or whatever they call them.

This is exactly the kind of stuff I stopped there for. On one job we did, I got lunch there everyday and never even got sick of it.

 

The parm garlic wings are actually legit! Not very healthy but whatever

 

I prefer the BBQ one's myself.

 

Can anybody top Casey’s gas station pizza?

 

I make a garlic parmesan chicken in the Slow Cooker.
Maybe next year at Wyalusing I'll make some for you savages.

 

Sounds like a good excuse to take a detour south. The trip from Washington to Oregon to California is fun. Get to SoCal then start heading east. You could easily avoid all the snow unless it happens to snow in the Midwest in the next 3 weeks which I doubt cuz it can’t even rain lately.

Flying J has the best gas station pizza I’ve found.

 

I'd like to do that, and definitely thought about it! But, PTO is an issue. That, and my girlfriend will be joining me - we thought staying near Seattle to tour the state for 4-5 days would be fun. Maybe even pop up to Vancouver, if I can get my renewed passport by then.

At some point, I'd love to make a pilgrimage to see @Supr4Lo
