Thanks for those that like my Facebook page! :)

I am also working on creating a YouTube account and figuring out how to upload videos for reference.

So it looks like some people have the light coming out of the whole housing yet after I installed mine it only shines out of the top half of the light. There is a distinct line and the top half of the headlight has light emitting from it and the bottom half is not even lit. Im sure this is due to the metal shield that comes on the light and only allows light to shine upward into the reflective material..

Can I remove this shield? Will my light output increase or decrease and what are the possible negatives of doing this? Is there any positives? Seems like that shield is limiting the light output.

    Thanks

Do not remove that shield. You will have no cutoff and will blind everybody on the road. Plus the light won't be focused on the road so you will loose brightness. :)

Yeah i ran the wires under the radiator shroud, turned out fine.

I noticed I need to re aim but when i went to do it i couldn't figure out which screw moved them down. I felt like i was turning them quite a bit and nothing seemed to move.

Thank you for the response. I also notices that the light is slightly twisted. The best way to explain is if you have a completely horizontal line where the light shines and focuses but with mine that horizontal line is slight coceyed. Is there a way to adjust the horizontal cutoff? Does that make sense. I know comments dont mean anything unless I have pics but the pics dont show what Im talking about. Does this all make sense?

I would like to see a pic if you can. I think the pattern is slightly angled instead of flat horizontal? I am not sure if the adjustments on the headlight housings control this or not.

Here is a ghetto drawing. Hope it makes sense. I tried to take a picture but its not showing it very well. I will try again tonight but hopefully my elementary school drawing shows you what Im talking about. Its almost like the shield is rotated in the housing causing the break like to be angled. Not a big deal but if I can fix it I would like to.

Installed mine tonight, turned out great. Little work trying to find where to mount all the boxes and keep the wires as nice as possible.

These truly are plug n play, even after my disaster yesterday. I wrote about it yesterday on another thread, but long story short, I cut my finger right out of the gate, got blood on the new HID bulb :( thought it was done!

So I stopped and put everything away. Was so frustrated I was planning on selling them last night. Came home today after work, tried again and it went well. Took about an hour 1/2 but a lot of that time is just looking and thinking about how you want to route wire and what not.

Love the look of these things, they are awesome.
