I just looked it up on their website, I think most credit unions have it easily listed

I have some extruded aluminum and cage panels I will likely work with and make a hinge closure in the half near the cab.

will be accommodating two labs, 90lb and 75 lb.

I’d be going 2nd gen Sequoia with the 5.7 for the extra space. I don’t intend to do any off-road with either vehicle really, just reliable for bad road conditions and camping from time to time. Usually just stick to single track with my bike for off road fun.

Likely going to save up about $30k and do $15k loan, regardless of rates. Hoping over 2 years or so and then pull the trigger. If I can make the truck work then it’s really a non issue, but as the kids get bigger I can imagine the bigger vehicle will be nice.

I would consider the 1st gen with the 2uz they look better, have solid rear axle and much cheaper

the 2nd gen sequoia looks fugly and bloated

I was in the same boat. Dog Wife Kid in my taco was super tight with camping gear. So we got a 4Runner & it’s been great. If we couldn’t had gotten the 4Runner, I’d probably gone with a 2nd gen sequoia before TSS. We kept the taco since it was paid off

maybe personal preference but I like the bullish 2nd gen look, seems to have more space for what I need, and don’t need the solid rear axle.

I didn't buy my 07 Tacoma until my youngest moved out in 2007. No way I'd have tried to raise 2 kids with a Tacoma. We had a crew cab F150 and a Tahoe when raising my kids. Even if your kids fit now, they grow. And they will want to bring friends. My son was 5'3 and 140 lbs in 8th grade. He was 6'3 and 240 lbs by 10th grade wearing a size 13 shoe. He simply wouldn't fit in the back seat of my Tacoma.

By 2016 I had 3 grandkids (currently 5) and the Tacoma was once again too small. I went back to a crew cab F150 and an Explorer with 3rd row seating for my wife. I was able to keep the old Tacoma as a 3rd vehicle, but not everyone can do that.

If you have kids you have to do what you have to do. Get something big enough. There will always be another Tacoma down the road.
